“Great Stay”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 February 2012

The hotel has a great European feel. Bed was great! The hotel bar and restaurant (breakfast) were very nice as well! Some will feel the bathrooms are a bit small, but I found them to be just fine. Staff was very helpful. The only issue I had can be siad of all the hotels in downtown Seatlle - it can feel a bit unsafe on some streets if you come home late. The Andre was a great stay!

Dear SteepWilly,
Thank you for your review! We are delighted to see that you enjoyed your stay, and appreciate you complimenting our staff. Thank you for the note about our guest bathrooms - during our last renovation we designed the space to be open and functional with counter space and large lighted mirrors. In addition, many of our Superia Rooms offer a separate vanity area with additional counter space and leather ottoman, and would be happy to try to accommodate you in this room type for your next visit! We look forward to welcoming you to Seattle again.
Kind regards,
Kelsey Hunsinger

“Wonderful Stay”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 January 2012

We were in Seattle celebrating a friend's birthday and selected Hotel Andra due to the positive reviews and proximity to dinner (RN74 which was excellent). We purchased the 'Urban Package' which includes Valet Parking (reg $38/night) and a $40 voucher to about 4 different Tom Douglas restaurants, all of which are within 1 block of the hotel. We chose to use the certificate at Lola (fresh hot hand melt in your mouth donuts, best Bloody Mary's which included jalepeno infused Vodka and Eggs Benedict from scratch, one of the best breakfasts we have ever had). The room was quite large, very clean, contemporary, oversized robes, Starbucks coffee maker, flat screen, wine glasses and opener, ironing board, seperate powder area,we were on the 7th floor and had city views which were fun at night. The 4 Star review is due to one area that while not the hotel's fault could be rectified with a simple solution and that is the street noise heard all night long. I suggest small ear plugs like the Chrysalis in Bellingham supplies guests for the train noise (not the same train VS cars however light sleepers will be disapointed to be awake all night). We want to acknowledge Justin for his amazing guest service (remembering our names, hailing cabs within seconds, remembering where we were going and where we had been) as a manager myself it is team members such as he that bring customers back, service, service, service. Even with the car noise we would return, it was just that wonderful.

Room Tip: Purchase the Urban Package for the best value

“Lovely Night in Seattle”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 January 2012

This was our 3rd time staying at Hotel Andra in downtown Seattle. Very conveniently located, Hotel Andra provides a comfortable stay in a lovely room. Staff is friendly and acommodating.

Room Tip: The higher up you stay, the less the street noise.

“Great location, nice room”

Had a great one night stay at the Andra as we were stuck in Seattle during the recent snowstorm. I called from the airport and got a great rate over the phone. We'd eaten at the restaurant off the lobby before and thought it looked like a cool hotel. We had a room on the 7th floor which matched the vibe of the lobby - Scandinavian chic without becoming too ikea. Nice view over 4th Ave. Bathroom had a large shower instead of a tub.

Plus: Bed was very comfy, Frette towels, no hallway noise
Minus: heating fan kept cycling on and off all night. We could sleep, but it was a bit loud. No free wifi, but if you check in on 4Square and show the front desk they will give you a code.

Otherwise a great stay in my favorite part of town: close to downtown shopping, the market, light rail to the airport, and Belltown.

Dear Nomad1999,
We are so glad to see you enjoyed your stay, and a few of Tom Douglas' restaurants! For your next stay, don't forget that Serious Pie delivers to Hotel Andra - you can easily order through room service (but, we do love the atmosphere of the restaurant as well!). Also, we do have a limited number of suites, so to guarantee the one-bedroom Lux Suite we always suggest booking in advance. We occasionally offer promotions specifically for our Luxes, so watch your inbox for specials via our mailing list!

Kind regards,
Kelsey Hunsinger
