My husband & I stayed here a couple of weeks ago & were severly disappointed. First....we arrived in a lifted 4x4, they suggested we park 3-4 blocks away (they're not prepared for that even though we were in Seattle, really?). Second....they went ahead & accepted the truck, the valet could barely drive. Third....they say wine reception HA, they had wine glasses & no wine. Fourth....our room was so small (even when they said it was the largest they had) there's no way we could both move around at the same time. Fifth....when I went into the restroom there was dried blood on the door, can you say Bio-Hazard (gross). Sixth....I went down to retrieve something out of our truck only to find it with the passenger window down & every door unlocked (we had 2 Co. laptops in the backseat along with other professional goods, no to mention the truck itself). Lastly....when I brought the truck issue to the clerks attention, the best they could do was offer a budget breakfast from the in house coffee house. The next morning upon checkout I informed the manager on duty of ALL the complaints, he replied that the regional manager would be calling me about our aweful experience at their facility, 2 1/2 weeks later I still haven't heard from anybody! Don't waste your time or money. The best thing about this place is it's an easy walk downhill to the pier & all the wonderful things it has to offer! Good luck walking back uphill!

Room Tip: Don't stay here

Dear Shannan R,

Clearly a stay which did not provide the Executive Experience which we endeavor to provide. A raised 4X4 truck does not fit most of Seattle indoor parking a challenge which could have been handled much better. As for finding your vehicle unlocked clearly unacceptable by any standard. Our wine reception receives constant rave reviews and in all the time we have offered this service there was only 1 day were we failed this was because a team member who was certified to serve wine was not available I am truly sorry.
We take great pride to address guest service issues in a timely manner which in your case evidently we failed.
As for the Seattle Hills, our staff on a daily basis provide guest with the insight how to walk the city without that massive uphill walk.
Please feel free to contact me so that we can provide you with an Executive experience during your next Seattle visit.

“Not my suggestion unless you are alone”

I was looking for a better than average Hotel downtown for my wife and I to enjoy a valentine weekend and I thought the price offered was the best deal. We only stayed one night in #423. Well, you get what you pay for. The location is good for being downtown, but you still have the street people present around the area enough to make you feel uncomfortable. If you are looking for roomy rooms, well don’t come here. The rooms are nice, but very small. If you are a taller or a larger person the bathrooms within the room are not for you. The door and the wall are about 5-6 inches to the toilet (no leg room to sit properly). The only roomy thing in the bathroom is the tub and even that is only 5ft long. The cleanliness in the room was bad. The bathroom glass door was dirty with hand prints. The bedding looked like they changed the sheets and the pillow cases, but kept the down comforter from the previous tenant. The bed is hard and the walls to your neighbor are very thin. I could have had a decent conversation with my neighbor and understand what they were saying. Plus, the self parking is "steep" in my opinion at $21.

Room Tip: Choose another Hotel and make sure you read reviews.

“Convenient”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 February 2012

We traveled from Vancouver to Seattle and stayed only one night at the hotel. The location was perfect for our purpose: have a night out in downtown and attending a preview at the Seattle Art Museum the next morning. The Executive has an agreement with a parking next door and we payed $23 for a 24-hour parking period.
Our room faced the Seattle Library. Noise from the street wasn't much of a problem, but I could hear other guests using their showers through the pipes. In the morning, I could hear people talking on the hallway and doors being slammed.
Small room ,very small bathroom (no bath tub), but we didn't need anything more than what was being offered.
There is a coffeemaker in the room and a Seattle's best Coffee at the lobby.
When we visited, they were offering a 'wine reception' at the mezzanine – that meant having a glass of wine before leaving for dinner. Nice!
I would stay here again whenever I need a central place, but it's not exactly the kind of hotel I would recommend to friends, unless they are looking for a great rate.

“Thins walls, older decor..”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 January 2012

This hotel is in a older building across the street from the Seattle Public Library. There is a Seattle's Best Coffee shop inside the hotel which is great. The staff are pleasant and very helpful. Unfortunately that isn't the issue. We stayed here Saturday night in a Queen Room. The walls are so think I could hear someone next door coughing every 2-3 minutes. Then the person on the other side of us came in from a night on the town very loud and drunk. Coughing on one side, talking on the other..needless to say we couldn't get to sleep. In fairness, I don't think the people talking were talking that loud but it was still very annoying. We called the front desk and they graciously moved us to another room at 1 a.m. This room was a King and much nicer than the queen. I would only stay here again if I had a King room and asked for a corner unit. The decor has been updated but you can see that they only upgraded the essentials. The bathroom in the Queen was small and cramped.
