My wife and I stayed in The Eagle cabin for 3 wonderful nights. I won't post pictures as the pictures on their website are 100% spot on. The cabin is big - lots of room to roam around and the bed is perfect. The place was top notch clean (and I'm fussy about that) and in great condition. There's a covered porch that is a great place to unwind.
It has pretty much everything you need BUT if you're used to hotels you need to bring stuff like a hair dryer, shampoo and soap. They supply the towels and all bed linens. There is a 5 cu ft (about) refrigerator and a microwave, as well as some dishes, glasses and cups.
Our experience was that the response time when trying to make the reservation was slow. It was months ahead of time and after the season, but I mention it in case it happens to you. Not a big deal, except I was trying to line up a trip and had to wait on them.
The wait was absolutely worth it. The setting is great - you're out in the woods a couple miles from Skagway. Easy to get to as long as you have a car or a ride. I wouldn't try to walk there. It's a couple miles from the dock and part of the road is not "walk friendly".
There are about 40 steps to the cabin, so if you have mobility problems this is probably not for you. No wi-fi, which I missed. We use it to keep in touch with friends so that was the only thing I would like them to add.
Helpful hint: The Skagway Library in town has wi-fi. Everywhere else I found charged for time. It's a huge cruise destination so everybody's trying to make a buck during a pretty short season.
Skayway Bungalows have been doing this for more than 10 years, so they've got it down. We met people who have stayed there every year. We will definitely stay here when we return. It beats the heck out of the hotels in town - at least the ones I saw.
