We spent 2 nights at this fabulous hotel. It is beautiful, clean, and full of French, vintage charm. The owners were very kind and helped us with our travel itinerary. We dined in the garden under a setting sun and enjoyed a beautiful 6 course meal. It was worth every penny. The hotel is also in a stunning location. We really did not want to leave.

Organizing a business event in the middle of nowhere is always a challenge since everybody asks “Why there?”
All the attendees we received here for an international meeting got their personal answer to the question: the place, the view, the house, the rooms (very cozy but not showy) makes you feel like at home. On top of it, the discrete but very good level of service provided helped us to make this event a success, and we wanted to thank our guests for that

This hotel is gorgeous.It has a beautiful country setting and is very quiet.The decor of both the rooms and public areas is very stylish.The bedrooms are huge also.
The swimming pool is in and elevated position and looks out over surrounding rolling countryside.The owners were charming with a great sense of humour.

The owners must have been hurting for money, because they seem to have no concern that my wife being pregnant had to have something to eat, and the only thing they had to offer was a $60 meal per person. They finally suggested a smaller meal for the two of us for 30 euro which was very nice of them, but it did take some arguing before this happened. They suggested that it might be better if we stayed somewhere in Bordeaux to get us closer to sites of interest. The next day we took their advise and found a really nice small hotel. The cancellation was discussed and the owner said that everything would be taken care of. Upon our return to the States our Travel Agent sends us an email stating that the owner decided that he would not refund the money paid on the room which was not used. The place was desolate in the middle of nowhere. The owners were not very helpful or curteous. The home appeared to have been beautiful, before they stripped out everything that was original. All of the additions actually made the place a little drab and normal.
