Very nice place indeed. In the sticks a bit but all the better for it. That said 10 minutes drive would see you in Bergerac. Excellent breakfast. Our room was very large. I can only rate the food as good, but I believe the regular chef was off whilst we were here.
There were 3 menu options or à la carte.
Dinner on the terrace is a real treat. Decent wine list at fair prices. Nice pool, great views.
Owners and staff very pleasant.

La Chartreuse Du Bignac is a very nice accommodation with swimming pool, very large garden and fantastic views. The owners are very nice, helpful and will do anything to make sure that you're having a relaxing vacation. The rooms all have a different theme and are very clean and spacious. The location is very quiet, and easy accessible by car. Our stay was enormously relaxing, comfortable and due to the warm welcome and hospitality of the owners completely stress-free. I would truly recommend this location for people (couples) who are looking to relax and want to enjoy great food and wines.

We spent 2 nights at this fabulous hotel. It is beautiful, clean, and full of French, vintage charm. The owners were very kind and helped us with our travel itinerary. We dined in the garden under a setting sun and enjoyed a beautiful 6 course meal. It was worth every penny. The hotel is also in a stunning location. We really did not want to leave.

Organizing a business event in the middle of nowhere is always a challenge since everybody asks “Why there?”
All the attendees we received here for an international meeting got their personal answer to the question: the place, the view, the house, the rooms (very cozy but not showy) makes you feel like at home. On top of it, the discrete but very good level of service provided helped us to make this event a success, and we wanted to thank our guests for that
