Unspoilt charming boutique hotel, great restaurant and super views over the vineyards - if you like Alsace wines ask for the house wine by the pichet, its from their own vineyards.

Incredible prix fixe dinner and comfortable stay at a super value. Room is dated but clean and large. Very friendly staff.

We stayed at the hotel for nine nights enjoying the excellent restaurant, comfortable room and very personal service of this family run business. Everyone was warm, friendly, helpful and went that extra distance to make our stay enjoyable. The location is excellent for touring Alsace and the staff offered helpful suggestions as to where we may go. They also serve and sell wine from their own vineyard and this is good quality and cheap.

We stayed 2 nights in early August 2009. The first room we were offered had 2 single beds (we had asked for a double) but a view of the Castle at Koeningsbourg. We looked at other rooms but they were smaller and with no view. The bathroom was primitive with no shower just a handle that sprayed water all over. The bed linen was clean but ancient and the decor was, for a hotel at this price and supposedly three stars, dismal. We paid 100 Euros a night; there were many hotels in the vicinity offering rooms for closer to 50 Euros and I feel sure they would have offered a similar room quality though not the view
