My husband and I had to stay here for 2 nights between moving out of our home and moving into temporary housing for a month while our new home in Kennesaw is being built. We are VERY familiar with the Kennesaw area. The hotel is well-located, the only issue might be a hairy left turn into the parking lot during busy traffic times on Busbee, which is the road it is off of. It was clean and comfortable. I would not have wanted to pay the full AAA rate, even though I'd get Priority Club points. I recommend going to RoomSaver-dot-com and finding a coupon for this hotel (you might have to dig a little). We got one for $69. When we presented it, they kindly said that it was for queen bed only (so we paid $5 to upgrade to king) and that it was for one night only, so we'd be paying our AAA rate for the second night. On check out, however, we noticed we'd gotten the $69 for both nights. Bonus! And a good thing b/c it was fine, but not worth much more, really. The coffee bar was nice, the buffet was tidy, albeit not the greatest choices for healthy eaters. Mind you, it was good for what it was--we generally don't expect fresh eggs (vs powder) and other whole foods at buffets, so it wasn't a score-breaker. The "drtweed" reviewer who mentioned the FOX news/right wing thing was spot-on, which was sort of funny. Indeed, FOX news was on constantly and way too loud. Too loud no matter what was on. So if you have an aversion to ultra-conservative stuff like that with your morning chow, make other breakfast plans. I'll keep my views to myself, but I will say I've just gotten sort of used to that living here in the South as long as I have. It is what it is. Our room had a fridge and microwave + coffee maker. Never used the shower (I showered at work around the corner), so I can't speak to those.
