“Loved it!”

I would stay here again in a second. The location was excellent. Just far enough away from Seward to get away from the people, but close enough that it was a quick drive into town or Exit Glacier. Like the other reviews have said, Tim is awesome. Anything that you need, he is there for you. He gave us several recommendations on food and hikes and each one was excellent. The smoked fish sticks from the store on the corner were amazing. The cabins were also very nice. We stayed in the Burl Cabin and had a porch looking out onto the creek where we watched the salmon swim by. One hesitation that I had was that there was not a bathroom room in the cabin. However, the common bathrooms were so nice that I didn't even notice. The price was excellent too and I would highly recommend staying here to all of my friends.

We had a fabulous time at Alaska Creekside Cabins. The location as perfect for family, friends, fun, and relaxation. We watched salmon and ducks in the creek and had a beautiful view of the stars. Tim, the owner, is friendly, helpful, and respectful of your space. He helped us grill salmon (delicious!) and had great recommendations for locals businesses. We have already recommended Alaska Creekside Cabins to our friends and family.

“After 5 days here, we felt like we had really had a vacation”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 September 2011

This was our 3rd trip to Alaska. We were looking for something with a remote feeling and that is exactly what we found. After 5 days we felt like we had really had a vacation. The trip was mostly to fish and relax. Sitting on the porch and watching the Salmon and Ducks in the stream was great. Wonderful hiking trails are close by. Tim's dad loaned us some hand crafted walking sticks for our trek up Lost Lake Trail. They were perfect. On previous trips we had noticed some of the cabins grounds in that area looked a little junky. Tim's property was the cleanest we have seen. When you drive onto the property it is like you have driven into your own little world. The cabins had everything we needed, coffee pot, small refrigerator, microwave oven and TV. The cabins were cleaned and needed items were replenished daily. The beds were great-best we had slept in a long time. Walking to the bath house is not a problem at all if you are concerned about that. They were kept extremely clean. The shower rooms were warm and cozy, oh and the piped in music was great. After fishing all day the hot shower was a life saver. Restaurants, Grocery Stores, laundry..what ever you need is very close by. There is a fire pit just outside the door. We only built a fire one night. Coming from a drought and the heat in South Texas we just enjoyed the little rain we got and the cool weather. Some of the previous reviews stated the cabins were small, There were 3 of us in one cabin and there was more than enough room for all of us and all our stuff. We were very pleased to find the cabins exactly the way they were described. Already planning a return trip, and we will not have to spend time searching for a place to stay, it will be Creekside Cabins. We didn't make it to the sauna. We had planned on it, but were just too pooped at the end of the day! Next Time for sure. OH..the fishing was a huge success, Loving those Salmon steaks back home.

“Great Place to Relax and Unwind”

This is a great place to stay. I highly recommend it to friends and have brought family there to stay. Our first stay was a few years ago and the cabins only get better. Tim the owner is friendly, respectful and does a great job maintaining and improving the cabins. We have watched salmon and ducks in the creek and spotted eagles on the property. It is a great place to relax and unwind.

“One of the best places we have ever stayed”

Creekside Cabins are located just outside Seward, AK (maybe 2 mi). The location was absolutely perfect because of the proximity to town, but was also a little removed from the center of town. It was along a little side road toward Exit Glacier/Kenai Fjords National Park, there's a small creek running through the property. The grounds are really nice, bathrooms were kept very clean (with music playing)-the fact that are not located in your cabin, is not a problem, at all.
The cabins were a perfect balance between rustic and luxury (TV, DVDs, fire-ring, firewood, wildlife) It was exactly what we were looking for in our "Alaska experience." We were both so sad when it was time to leave. I would highly, highly recommend staying at these cabins. If we were to return (and I sure hope that we do soon), I would definitely stay here again, even though I would like to see other parts, I just fell in love with Seward and Creekside Cabins.
Last, but definitely not least, the owner of the property, Tim was just incredible. We both travel quite a bit, and we have NEVER had such a great host. Like many of the other reviews have noted, he went above and beyond what was expected. I truly believe that he added to our Alaska experience and made it truly memorable. He provided us with the best experiences and recommendations. He also payed attention to every last detail when the rooms were cleaned every AM. When we share stories of our vacation, Tim, Creekside Cabins, and Seward always dominate the conversation. Again- if there are openings, I would book a cabin at this place ASAP

Room Tip: Burl Cabin was perfect for two people
