“One of the best places we have ever stayed”

Creekside Cabins are located just outside Seward, AK (maybe 2 mi). The location was absolutely perfect because of the proximity to town, but was also a little removed from the center of town. It was along a little side road toward Exit Glacier/Kenai Fjords National Park, there's a small creek running through the property. The grounds are really nice, bathrooms were kept very clean (with music playing)-the fact that are not located in your cabin, is not a problem, at all.
The cabins were a perfect balance between rustic and luxury (TV, DVDs, fire-ring, firewood, wildlife) It was exactly what we were looking for in our "Alaska experience." We were both so sad when it was time to leave. I would highly, highly recommend staying at these cabins. If we were to return (and I sure hope that we do soon), I would definitely stay here again, even though I would like to see other parts, I just fell in love with Seward and Creekside Cabins.
Last, but definitely not least, the owner of the property, Tim was just incredible. We both travel quite a bit, and we have NEVER had such a great host. Like many of the other reviews have noted, he went above and beyond what was expected. I truly believe that he added to our Alaska experience and made it truly memorable. He provided us with the best experiences and recommendations. He also payed attention to every last detail when the rooms were cleaned every AM. When we share stories of our vacation, Tim, Creekside Cabins, and Seward always dominate the conversation. Again- if there are openings, I would book a cabin at this place ASAP

Room Tip: Burl Cabin was perfect for two people

“Highly Recommended. A Great Place.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 August 2011

My Wife and I decided to kick start our Honeymoon with Alaska Creekside Cabins. Initially, my wife was concerned about the separate bathhouse. Upon arrival her concerns fell away. The cabins and the bathhouse are beautiful and incredibly clean. We should know we extended our stay and experienced three different cabins! The owner Tim was incredibly warm and welcoming. He provided an appreciated honeymoon touch, and offered excellent recommendation on hikes and activities. A great guy and an incredible place. We highly recommend Alaska Creekside Cabins.

“Gorgeous nature and warm hospitality”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 August 2011

We were looking for quiet, scenic Alaska, and we found it at Alaska Creekside Cabins. Our cabin was literally creekside, with forest just on the other side of the creek. We saw a giant bald eagle swoop into the tree right near our cabin. The accommodations were clean and cozy - with great decorations and stocked with everything we needed. The best part of staying here was how friendly and supportive the owner Tim was. He shared some freshly caught salmon with us and offered to take us out on his boat. All in all, this place was a total winner.

I stayed here with 4 other girlfriends and had an amazing time. Our host Tim was super cool and friendly, he was always ready to answer any questions we had. The place was clean and cozy, if I ever go back to Seward, I will for sure stay here.

“Great Choice for a Memorable Stay in Seward”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 August 2011

These are cabins, alright, but VERY comfortable and just far enough from downtown to feel secluded. We ate downtown one night, at the Salmon Bake (close by) another, and cooked on the grill at the Cabins on our last night..

We were there with a group of 5, and spent our days hiking in some of the most breathtaking country I have ever seen. Creekside is within walking distance of the Lost Lake trail which is a beautiful day hike, and only a couple of miles from the spectacular Harrington Ice Field trail, at Exit Glacier. We weren't fishing or cruising, but all of that is close by. Tim (owner) was very helpful and a great source of information on the area and activities. We rated his advice at 100% accuracy!

Bath and showers are separate but very well set up and immaculate. Overall the place is just a pleasure. There's a TV in the room, but honestly, if you turn it on, you should slap yourself!

We'll be back to Kenai and will definitlely stay here again.
