“Super sweet, warmth in mist”

Loved the Paddle Inn, stayed for two nights during our honeymoon in July 2010. Fantastic view, cute touches, super clean and comfy. The only downsides were that this is a very small dirt road that separates the house from the beach (so you look at your car through the window), and the bedroom was a little dark. But other than that, I would recommend without hesitation. We grilled on the deck, hung out by the beach and got a massage from the owner. Wonderful, and the entire point where the house is located is super charming...we actually couldn't get as many dates as we wanted at the Paddle Inn, so we spent a few other days hopping over to Angel's Rest and the Yurt...came to just adore that entire area.

“Best View in Seward”

Loved our stay in May in the low-tide room. The view was so breathtaking. During our stay there was a constant flow of hummingbirds to the feeder right outside our large window. The shower and bathroom was very nicely done and the bedroom did a great job of keeping the light out when it was time to sleep. The location is very close to all you would want to do in Seward. Close to hiking trails, day cruises, aquarium, and downtown while feeling like you are alone on the bay. This was our first trip to Alaska and I must say we fell in love and part of that was because of this great home-away-from-home we stayed in. The breakfast foods were really great and a nice touch. Loved the gas fireplace as well. Would definitely come back!

“Nothing says cozy like Alaska Paddle Inn”

I'm still reveling from my weekend at Alaska Paddle Inn - from both the views as well as the cozy interior where no detail for comfort is left unturned. I was inspired by having mountains and ocean right outside the door, access to hiking trails, and the two awesome, knowledgable hosts, Alan and Alison, to point me in the right direction for endless fun. The rooms are amazing - artistic, creative, and one of a kind. Really, one of the highlights is simply showering in the beautiful slate and stone shower. This was my first stay there and I gaurantee that I'll be back.

Room Tip: The high tide has a great view and is perfect for couples. If you have more than 2 people, choose t...

“Breathtaking views, superb hospitality, must stay here!”

This is THE place to stay in Seward! We were a group of two couples, one in the Low Tide room (downstairs) and another in the High Tide (upstairs). We brought food and cooked dinner together upstairs [note - you have everything you need except a stove] while enjoying panoramic views of Resurrection Bay and its backdrop of never ending mountains. The views were unbelievable, as was the craftsmanship that went into this Inn. Alan & Alison (owners) did not skip a single detail when building this place. It is immaculate, cozy, and stocked with everything you need. Alan's handmade stone showers in the bathrooms are incredible, you could spend hours in there! All of the kitchenware and linens are top quality. Very comfortable beds and a quiet night's sleep. The ihomes are a great touch! We were sad to only have one night to spend, and could not imagine a better place to be in Seward! Above all else, Alan & Alison warmly greeted us and made sure all of our needs were met; should a need arise, they encouraged us not to hesitate to ask, as their beautiful home is right next door. If you're looking for lodging in Seward, look no further!

Room Tip: better view & king size bed in high tide room

“The Paddle Inn, Best in Alaska!”

As frequent Alaskan visitors, we return to the Paddle Inn yearly. We travel extensively and there are few places that live up to the Paddle Inn. The view is amazing and the location is convenient yet secluded enough, that you feel remote. The rooms are well equiped, immaculate and beautifully decorated. The tile work and craftsmenship is spectacular. The room has juice, milk, cereal, yogurt, and a waffle maker and the ingredients for a delicious breakfast. Alan and Allison know their way around Seward and most of Alaska. If you're looking for an adventure they can provide direction! We've stayed in many vacation rentals and the Paddle is one of the best. See you guys next year!
