Stayed here for 2 nights. Our room didnt have a view but we knew this when booking so that was fine we took it because it was less pricly then the other rooms and we would have access to the deck and common room for the view. The view was great the deck was also nice and the common room as well. Our room had two twin beds and a small bathroom sink on the outside which I liked as one could get ready at it while other was in shower. Breakfast was good ceral, toast, oatmeal, fruit,coffee, juice, hotwater ect. The owner we saw only once for 5 mins while there and she seemed very busy with her other properties. Jesse was looking after this place for her and he was great very friendly and always had breakfast ready bright and early for us. This place is right on the beach which was very nice could go for long walks along the beach, which we did early morning and night. I would stay here again clean and qutie with great view.

Stayed two nights in June...cabin on ground level. Comfortable bed and very clean.
Breakfast was good...bagels, cereal, fresh fruit. The staff (Jesse and Jessica) were welcoming and helpful. Great views from the deck with eagles close up. A bit out of town but the drive is easy and the view is worth it. Would definitely stay here again.

My huband and I stayed at the Alaska Saltwater Lodge for five nights in June 2011 and it was such a fantastic experience! The room was clean, comfortable and cozy, and the owner and staff made it a truly unforgettable stay. The whole lodge has a personal touch that gives everyone a warm, welcoming feel.

This place is a 10 minute drive from Seward, so do not expect easy access to the city. However, the views from the deck are pretty spectacular. Grab a six pack and look out at Alaska's seemingly endless day even as the moon rises! Breakfast was fair, nothing too spectacular, and the rooms do not have tv's. The owner of the lodge is nice enough. But, when you look out the window and see the eagle soaring or the tide moving in, it is tough not to recommend this hotel for at least a night or two.
