We(2 of us) stayed here for 3 nights in June 2006. The B&B is conveniently located about 6.3 miles from the downtown area of Seward, hence the name 6 mile B&B. It's about 3 miles from the Exit Glacier. It is located close to the railroad tracks. If you are a light sleeper, you might want to bring earplugs. I had earplugs and I didn't hear a thing. The bathroom was spacious with lots of towels and a large counter. The shower was hot with great water pressure. The microwave and coffee maker were located in the bathroom. The room was spacious and the beds were very comfortable. It's a cable tv. The fridge is not a full size fridge, but it's bigger than a dorm size fridge, maybe the size of 2.5 dorm size fridges. Hot breakfast is served at 8:30am, otherwise the hosts provide a continental breakfast for you to eat at your leisure. They are willing to accommodate dietary needs. They also provided a binder with menus from local restaurants. This is a great place and great value for family with kids or people traveling together who don't mind sleeping in 1 large room.
