Our family of five had a great two-night stay here. Large, clean, and friendly second-story guest area included three double/queen sized beds and a couch that opened up for a fourth bed. Very friendly and helpful hosts. We would be glad to stay here again

Just spent three nights in Seward at the 6 Mile B & B located a few miles outside of town. We definitely felt we got our money's worth out of this B & B and recommend it to others. There's only one room - it's a large, quiet, comfortable upstairs room with its own private entrance and it has lots of skylights, antiques, and many beds. Three of them, in fact: two doubles and a queen (very comfortable) and there was also a fold-out couch! A great place for couples to spread out or for a family. The room has just about everything you need - refrigerator, TV & VCR & videos, books on Alaska, coffee maker, microwave, a nice big bathroom, and a deck. The only things it didn't have was a phone (but our cell phones worked) and a bathtub, but we didn't mind. Also, our wireless internet worked there, which was an added bonus. The breakfasts were wonderful - just too much food! The hosts were great - very helpful if you have questions, otherwise, they left you alone. We had a car & the drive to Seward only took a few minutes - it's very close to Exit Glacier & to some bars & restaurants that seemed a bit more "local" in color than the ones right in town. We would definitely stay at 6 Mile B & B again - we saw some of the other hotels and B & Bs around, and were glad we stayed there.
