“your own apartment in bright colors”

We stayed at Annie's for 2 nights. The outside of the building made us think we had made a mistake - it looks like an old motel, But inside was the big surprise: a brightly decorated one bedroom apartment with complete kitchen! A real joy. Very comfortable bed with lots of extra blankets and pillows. You will need a car to get around, unless you are a good walker and can make use of the local shuttle bus.

“Fantastic Little Hideaway!”

Our stay in Seward was nearly a week long! When we planned our trip, we were unaware that on Independence Day Weekend the normally quiet, sleepy town of 3, 000 people turns into a festive 30,000. Hotels were all full, and Annie's was our only choice in town.
What a choice! Fabulous views, adorable apartment, very close to town, with everything any traveler would need. Comfortable furniture, adorably decorated, complete kitchen, and easy access to everything in town. Laundry services were even available at the office, which is just up the hill. Easy walking distance to town, and the property manager was always ready to help in any way.
We can't say enough about Annie's...Make certain that you stay there on your next Seward visit!

“It's a mini house, your temporary home, you'll like it.”

Stayed 5 days in August. It was so nice to have a living room and a kitchen! Location is good but a far walk to the harbor and an even further walk to the grocery store. Taxi's are there, you have to call so look them up in a phone book. It's about a $5 taxi ride from the grocery store. Location is a good location, you are close to other things like the sea life center and the main street, 4th street. The place is really clean, kitchen has all you need and it's a great way to save money. Unit #1 has a beautiful view from the window. The bed is super cozy and the pillows are nice. If you stay here a good place to get fish to cook is in the subway stripmall, it's a small package place, Captain something. Annie's Anchor has an early check out, you can check your luggage in at the train station anytime during the day (if you're taking the train), then the Exit Glacier shuttle is right next door. Since the train doesn't leave until 5 or 6, it's a great way to spend your last few hours.

“Good value but beware of walk”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 August 2009

We stayed here for 5 days in July. The unit (#1) was tastefully decorated and has a well equiped kitchen. This is a great value for your money as long as you have a car. We turned our rental car back in earler in our trip and took a bus to Seward. We planned to cook to save money while we were there but beware that the only grocery store is too far to walk and carry groceries back. This place is about a ten minute walk to the small boat harbor which we did several times a day as most of the activities are based from here. However the grocery store is another 5-10 minutes and is a tuff walk when you have to carry back a bunch of groceries. Not to mention that it rained everyday we were in Seward!

“Perfect Seward Vacation Stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 17 May 2009

We stayed in a one bedroom unit on the end of this 4plex for 6 nights during our 2 weeks in Seward and could not have made a better choice. The unit itself has plenty of parking out front and lots of room inside, much more room then you'll find for the same price with a hotel! The unit we styed in was very nicely furnished with a complete entry way, living room, bedroom, bathroom with tub, fully equipped kitchen and great high speed wifi. Annie's is centrally located between downtown and an easy walk to the waterfront. The furnishings were high quality, comfortable and modern, our stay was no hassle and our vacation in Seward fabulous because of Annie's and the great reservation service from Debra at Alaska's Point of View.
