The condo that we stayed in #320 owned by Joani and Ray Duncan is beautiful,clean,comfortable and the perfect location for anything you want to do on the Big Island!!! No complaints...well just one...we had to leave! :( Joani is extremely easy to work with and a very sweet person! Can hardly wait to come back! Thank you Joani and Ray for sharing your piece of heaven!

http://www.vrbo.com/288986 (Room 322) This is a basic, older looking condo in the Kailua-Kona area. It has carpet and some tile, as well. The photo of the 'view from lanai' appears to be zoomed-in by the camera-yes, you do get that view but certainly not from that close (you are more like 10-ish units back even though the photo makes it appear like you are right up front). Regardless, when you sit on the Lanai, you can see this beautiful view and hear the waves. The best part of this place is the walk right across the street to Magic Sands beach...The waves were pretty big on our first couple of days and then definitely settled down and there is lots of body/boogie boarding there (even younger kids). Our stay was nice-as long as you're looking for a decent place to sleep and spend a couple of hours in during the day, this would be the place for you...But don't expect it to look like the Hilton! Unfortunately, there was an issue/possible miscommunication with the housekeeper and our unit had not been cleaned prior to our arrival. Other than that, our stay was enjoyable. The main strip of shops are a bit of a walk (I would guess 20-30 mins). We had a car-which I would highly recommend for the area. Our favourite restaurants were Lulu's and Bongo Ben's. We had 4 adults and 1 infant traveling with us. PS The Magic Sands beach area is not very big (if that's what you're looking for). If you're looking for a longer stretch of beach, I would recommend the beach at the Waikoloa Mariott Resort or Hapuna beach (which is a 25-40 minute drive from this area).

Spent March 27 to April 7th, 2011 at condo #335. Booked this condo through VRBO. The condo was exactly like the pictures. The condo is at the back of the property making it very quiet, the grounds are nice and well kept. I don't know if it was just the time of year we were there but sitting on the Lanai (our favourite spot) was always comfortable and never too hot. All appliances worked well (except toaster) and having the washer and dryer was an added bonus. The kingsize bed was very comfortable. It was a short drive into Kona or to the Kona farmers market. An easy walk to the Alli gardens farmers market. The booking process was very easy. Would book again at this condo in a hearbeat!

We stayed here with friends over spring break in March 2010. Our friends got the unit through their timeshare so we didn't have much expectations when we got there. The condos in general are in decent shape and seem to be in a safe area. The drive into the touristy area with all of the restaurants and shops was quick and scenic. The little "beach" across the street is not really a beach, it has more rocks than sand and no place to lay out and relax. With that said we still spent a couple hours here boogie boarding and came down at night just to hear the ocean and put our toes in the water. Overall I would recommend this complex even though I probably wouldn't stay here again, only because I would prefer a ocean front property next time.
