We spent 2 relaxing days here after driving from the other side of the island after staying 3 nights at a bed and breakfast that has a great web site, but in my opinion didn't deliver all that was stated.
I had booked 2 ocean view rooms (one for my wife and myself and the other for my sister). When we were checking in, they had upgraded both of our rooms at no charge to ocean front rooms (there is a lot of construction going on in another wing of this hotel but it did not interfere with out stay). Only our room was ready and they said my sister's room would be ready about an hour later. An hour later, my sister's room was ready, but she was give an ocean view room. With a quick call they honored what they said as we arrived and came through with the free upgrade to ocean front for my sister.
The rooms were clean, the price was reasonable, and it was very relaxing sitting near the pools. If you don't want to eat at the on site restaurants, the town is only about a 10 minute ride away by car. An alternative would be to use the free hotel shuttle. Nearby if you drive south there are a few coffee plantations where you can take a tour (and you'll realize why coffee prices are so high) and a few other attractions.
All in all, this was a good place to spend 2 relaxing days with minimal touring before we went on to Maui.
