We stayed here for 5 nights and were basically very happy. Enjoyed having a full kitchen and outside grill to prep most meals. This saved us tons of money and by going to Costco we grilled foods every night at mainland prices.
Somehow we were upgraded to a 2 bedroom townhouse unit so we had a separate bedroom for our luggage and gear. It was also wonderful to not have to share a bathroom. The furnishings, decor, bedding, shower showed slight wear and were spotless. We were also glad to be on an end unit because our one side neighbor was a huge, noisy family and only a thin wall separates the units. We opted to save money by forgoing maidservice but they were great about a daily emptying of the garbage and fresh towel replacement. The washer/dryer was small but they provided detergent prn as well as coffee, paper goods, dishwasher soap and garbage bags. The cooking supplies were minimal just salt/pepper and sugar and very basic utensils. The 40-50 units that comprise this resort are blocks from the cliff that overlooks the ocean moreover a drive to the sandy beach if you want to have a safe swim.
Few negatives were that 6-8 units share one gas grill so if the guy ahead of you wants to slow cook some ribs you are SOL, just drink more beer and wait. I also hated the stringent 10am check out. This seems unfair because they rarely release the unit exactly the 4pm check in. Does it really take 6 hours to clean a unit, why are you paying for a full day when you only have it for 3/4 day? We were in limbo land for hours, having arrived in midmorn and had to kill hours before we could settle in. The front desk was rigid in this situation but most generous and kind in all our other dealings, so go figure.
I will probably stay here again but NEVER show up to claim my unit till 4pm and not a minute sooner.
