This condo has an amazing view. Overlooks the pool and the ocean. The condo is furnished lovely with tile floors and everything you would need. Lawnchairs, cooler, lots of dishes and cooking utensils. 2 bathrooms, 2 bedrooms. We felt this condo was very nice. We did have trouble with the patio doors and the screens. The patio doors dont lock so you have to put a piece of pvc underground sprinkler pipe in the track on both sides. The screens I felt the rollers need to be replaced because they did not move well in the track. I broke many nails fighting with the patio doors and screens. Frustrating. Also the blinds covering the patio doors need to be replaced. Several blind panels are missing and they dont open all the way.
Other than that we really enjoyed our stay in 2601. If these little things dont bother you then you will love this condo. It is very clean and has a fantastic view. Just bring your clothes and enjoy.

We stayed in unit 2105 this January, and we loved it. The location is great, as long as you don't want to be within walking distance to shops, restaurant and so on. We much prefer a place that is more relaxing and less busy, which Kanaloa definitely delivered. The lanai was large and had a great view of the ocean, we could see whales every morning from there. The furniture was comfortable and there was even a little wet bar.

The condo itself is huge! We were a group of 5 adults staying in the condo, so we had to use the sleeper sofa as well. Not the most comfortable (but no sleeper sofa is), however, the sound of waves crashing against the shore all night made up for any discomfort there. Don't go expecting the condos to be brand new state of the art condos, because they are not. They are however, very spacious, comfortable, well equipped vacation condos. The grounds were beautiful, and as far as the pools go we only ever used the pool by the ocean and never felt the need to go to the others after that one closed at sunset, but they looked nice.

Just returned from staying 8 nights at Kanaloa At Kona #1902. The view was excellent directly on the ocean. The Lanai was large and the patio furniture was new and comfortable. We watched whales and dolphins from the lanai daily. The grounds are very well maintained and the staff are very helpful and if we called for anything they were right there to assist or bring more towels, ect. The kitchen was OK but the pots and pans need to be replaced. The furniture either needs to be replaced or at steam cleaned. Over all this is a great place for the view, location and the beautiful grounds.

Four of us stayed a week at #1603 at Kanaloa at Kona. Absolutely wonderful! This condo complex is right on the coast and this unit has ocean views from the Lanai, yet also is not directly facing the breakers so the sound isn't overwhelming. It also looks out over hole 12 on the adjacent golf course. The unit was clean and comfortable. A grocery and drug store are only a few blocks away as well as quick access to Highway 11. Very convenient and we loved it.
