First a word about moscenicka draga - this is a quiet, very small resort not for those who want a lively nightlife and an active beach scene. The beach is pebbly and clean and most of all quiet even in the height of the season as there is no road nearby. Though the hotel does not have a private beach it is less than thirty seconds from door to beach. The only downside of this is that you have to pay for loungers and umbrellas at a cost of about 7 euros per person per day.

The hotel is modern and clean. From the look of the room it appeared to have been freshly painted and furnished. We stayed for 4 days in a comfort room. This was spacious and pleasant. The bathroom was somewhat small and could have done with a shelf or a cupboard. The standard rooms looked similar but were very small and I would recommend a comfort room to anyone staying for longer than a weekend. I was disappointed with the view (over the roof and the heating system) but from the position of the hotel I don't think many of the rooms had a great view. Breakfast was good though not exceptional.

The hotel has a large indoor pool which we didn't use as the sea was warm and a wellness centre which I did.



A few very minor critiscisms. There was a feeling of penny pinching about the hotel, you had to pay for the room safe for example and there was a notice warning you that the room fridge was for hotel drinks only (for families on a long holiday this can add considerably to the cost) also toiletries were minimal and there were none of the little, maybe unneccesary touches that one comes to expect such as slippers or a shaving mirror and in the wellness centre you were offered a glass of water after your massage rather than the more usual juice or herbal tea. Very small things it is true but those that make a stay more pleasant. More importantly the air conditioning, though effective, was rather noisy.

Parking was secure and you were given a card to enable you to go in and out with ease. It costs less that one and a half euros a day.

I would go to this hotel again.
