I picked this hotel using a Croatian tourist accommodation Internet search site because we were driving to the Istrian coast during a weekend when almost every hotel in the region was full. Since I don’t speak or read Croatian, I wasn’t sure about the facility except that it appeared to have apartments overlooking the water and next to a nature center. Needless to say, my wife and I were surprised to drive through the gates to find everyone naked. The nature center was actually Europe’s largest Naturist center, accommodating up to 6000 guests overall.
After getting over the shock of the unexpected, we were quite happy with our bumbled choice of accommodations. The apartments were clean and comfortable with stocked kitchens, separate living and bedrooms and nice balconies overlooking the sea. The grounds of the park had areas for tent campers and RVs as well as villas, apartments and a quite decent restaurant (which we were happy to learn required clothes for hygiene’s sake).
No one seemed to mind that we kept our clothes on, so we used the apartment to explore the region, sometimes eating out and sometimes bringing food back to cook in our kitchen. At the price of 52 EUR per night including tax, the Koversada Apartments turned out to be one of the best bargains we found in Croatia. If you are not put off by a bunch of naked people, I recommend the Koversada Apartments in Vrsar, even if you are not a Naturist.
