The Harmony Motel was my last stop on a ten day road trip over the Christmas break. The desert views from the patio space in front of our room was really lovely both at sunrise and sunset. The desert garden that make up the grounds is nicely designed and maintained as is the pool and spa area. The room was nicely furnished and comfortable. Ash is friendly and was very helpful with restaurant recommendations. The park entrance is close by and an amazing experience. Excellent value.

Our family stayed here for two nights while exploring Joshua Tree National Park, and found it clean, comfortable, and convenient. It was fun to read about U2's stay at the motel while they were working on their Joshua Tree album, and then go into the park and see the Joshua trees! We appreciated having a full kitchen so we could breakfast at our leisure and make a picnic to take into the park. The double beds may be a challenge for tall people, but it was nice to stay in a unique little motel with quirky charm, rather than a cookie cutter travel lodge. The hot tub was scaldingly hot, but the views of the stars were awesome. It is a short drive to the town of Joshua Tree, where you can get great Indian food at Sam's Pizza (no kidding!). We also had a great time bowling at the Bowladium in 29 Palms.

We stayed at this motel in October. If you want a real desert experience make sure you stay at this place. Actually, I can't believe you would contemplate staying anywhere else. I highly recommend the last room at the end. Open the door in the morning and watch the sun rise.. try to spot a jack rabbit!

Staff: Very helpful and accommodating.
Room: clean and appropriate. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. It had all the basics: soap, shampoo, clean towels, warm water, etc.
Breakfast: There is a small kitchen with coffee brewed in the morning and a selection of teas. A refrigerator is available for your perishables as well as a toaster oven.
Other: Next to the kitchen there is a small reading room with one computer with internet available for use. There is a small pool and hot tub, which I didn't use, but saw other guests enjoying it.

This is a cute, colorful and cozy place. Ash, the owner, was really nice and helpful. It is clean and has all the basics with a touch of quirkiness.
