A clean, very pleasant B&B. Plamen's a great host. His homemade brandy and affable personality made for a highly convivial dinner. The location outside of Kazanlâk means peace and quiet in a middle-of-nowhere village, brilliant stars overhead, produce right from the house's garden, etc. Plamen was also very helpful about pickup and dropoff in town. Careful though: If he offers to drive you around for some sightseeing, it won't be free (he charged me 20 leva for a tour of about five sites, not including admission – really not a bad deal, though, if the alternative was renting a car). Conversely, the charge for dinner (with bottomless wine and brandy) was pretty nominal (12 leva I think). This would be a bad choice for wild nightlife, but that's not why you're going to Kazanlâk anyway, is it?
