This is a great hotel and i wouldn't hesitate to recomend it for a skiing holiday in Soll. Although first impressions are a little ropey- the lobby is tiny and a bit grubby- the rooms are sizeable, warm, clean and modern. We had a balcony overlooking the main street. The food is tasty; four courses everynight with a choice oftwo main courses (you decide at breakfast). The hotel also lays on a tasty after ski snack for when you come off the slopes. breakfast is a standard cold meats/cereal buffett style affair. Location: 10min walk to the ski school and nursery slopes or 10 seconds to the free ski bus stop for wider exploration. A lot of previous reviewers have complained about surly staff here and while i can see how people get that first impression i genuinely think that its a language thing' we saw similar levels of shortness in other places in Soll. Its pretty hard to make small talk when its not your first language. The actual level of service is really very good, just don't be expecting a USA-style 'have a nice day'. Overall really good.
