We stayed for the second time at Himmlhof and were not disappointed. The hotel is beautifully maintained, spotless and comfortable. Margherita and Sebastian are attentive hosts who take their business seriously and nothing is too much for them. Susan is a very special person who has a lovely nature and is constantly pleasant making breakfast and the apres ski snack something to look forward to.
The quality of the breakfast is good with a great variety. The rooms are comfortable and staying for a long time is fine as there is a lot of space. The hotel is well located in St Anton and the facility offered for storing ski's and boots near the lift makes skiing so easy.
The only thing we feel is missing is a tea / coffee making facility in the room and reading lights.
A wonderful holiday and we will return.

We booked this hotel based on reviews on Trip Advisor and were not at all disappointed. The hospitality, atmosphere, accommodation, cleanliness, food and location were all superb. We live in Australia and wanted something traditional - this ticked all the boxes. We travelled with two children and stayed in one of the suites with bedrooms upstairs in the "roof" - apart from banging heads every now and again, they were cosy and warm and had their own little balconies which looked out over the slopes. We also had a gorgeous fireplace in the lounge of the suite - a great place to sit in front of after a days skiing over a glass or two of red. Sebastian, Margherita and Suzanne all made us feel most welcome and especially our two boys were completely mesmerised, a result of which we are now under some pressure to relocate to St Anton!

My wife and I with close friends again return to the always warm hospitality that Margherita, Sebastian and staff provide with so much ease -- for our all too short a stay, they make us feel most welcome into their home. The apres-ski snacks and awesome skiing are so much frosting on the cake!! Thanks again to the Penz family; we look forward to joining you all again next year!

We stayed for New Year and had an absolutely lovely time! The staff could not have been friendlier, amazing service! Margherita and Sebastian were wonderful hosts The rooms was lovely, and we really enjoyed the apres-ski afternoon snack everyday. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone going to St Anton. Thanks again for a wonderful stay!!
