My Husband and I stayed here on our honeymoon. We were extremely pleased with the hotel. Although our room was small it had everything we needed. The spa was great after a day on the slopes. The 5 course dinners exceeded our expectations for both quality and quantity. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The heated boot racks were a luxury and the hotel is smack bang in the middle of the village with only a short walk to the slopes. My only complaints would be that it was a little noisy at 3am as people leave the clubs and the skiiers snacks between 3.30 and 5.30 are a little sparse with no free hot drinks. But without a doubt I would return to this hotel. One tip is that we didnt realise that you can order the "Austrian Specialities" instead of the normal main course when you order your evening meal. We had a great week at this property. Location is as good as it gets, food was unbeleivably great, service overall world class. The front desk is extremely professional and savvy. Wait staff will cater to your every need, and any other hotel support was world class. Pricing is a little more than others but worth it. try this place next time you are there.
.. and St.Anton is a fairy tale ski resort. Not sure how it gets better than this.

Two times in a row we have visited Hotel Alte Post.
It was with great pleasure to stay with 20 women!!
Frau Monika was excellent in solving every problem and providing service to meet every wish possible.
The Hotel is mid-town. Around the corner (you do not need a jacket) there is the POST Keller (disco). Skiing down from the Mooserwirt is even possible in the dark for those who hardly master a blue piste.
At the hotel, the swimming pool and wellness area is suberb. The bar is boring. Food is excellent. For diner and breakfast, we had a 'Stube' for ourselves and that was good for the other guests as 20 women can make a lot of noise.
The beds are not always large enough

I spent already a few summers in this little tiny village hiking the sorrounding mountains and I am pleased to recommend this hotel to everybody.
This establishment is located right at the beginning of the pedestrian area nevertheless you have car access to the underground parking lot, which makes things easier when checking-in or out. The hotel reflects the austrian and alpine flair with lots of wood, carpets and other typical touches. Do not expect a stain steel and glass modern building! After all you heading to a mountain village. The staff is very helpful, friendly but not overwhelming. The rooms varies in sizes but they all have a nice and genuine atmosphere. The cuisine is international with a nice Tyrolean touch and if you are not happy with the offerings the staff is always ready to satisfy your wishes. There is a big bar and a café to enjoy your evenings and afternoons.
The SPA area is located in the basement with a nice swimming pool, a jacuzzi, a working out room and a lovely sauna area with dry and herbal rooms, Turkish Bath and a a big resting area with headsets to enjoy some music while resting. And YES! the sauna area has a no bathing clothes policy and no children allowed (it is basically the very normal sauna etiquette) The SPA also provides massages and a different variety of treatments. Different kind of activities are offered during the week. Altogether is great place to relax and spend some quality time, pampered with great staff and lovely cuisine.
