Just returned from a week in St. Anton and overall we were disappointed with this hotel as our bedrooms were dark and tired and when we had to move at the end of the week the second bedrooms were bright and modern. The food was very good especially in the evening but the waiting service was poor. A couple of mornings our table was not set for breakfast. We had to ask for extras we needed rather than being offered anything. Wine in the evening was not topped up without being prompted. The staff would benefit from more training. Position of the hotel is in the middle of St. Anton main street and very handy for everything although could be noisy in the middle of the night with late drinkers. Swimming pool good but sauna poor compared to other Austrian hotels we have stayed in. St. Anton itself excellent for competent skiers and the conditions this year were superb!
