We decided to book a driving holiday to Austria but were not intending on skiing, therefore, most UK websites were not offering what we wanted. We came across this aparthotel on an Austrian web site and made contact with the owner direct.

The communication was excellent and we made the booking via bank transfer which at first worried me but we discovered that the integrity of the owner is 100%.

Upon our arrival we discovered that the 'Acherkogel' room that we had ordered was bigger than what we first thought. There was a large bedroom with a double bed and opposite that, a bathroom with shower and bath. The living area was sumptuous with a modern kitchen consisting of work top, units a microwave and hob. All cooking utensils etc are supplied (and more!!). Seating was ample with a sofa/bed, dining room table, another single sofa/bed. I will be attaching photographs of the accommodation in the next few days.

Each resident has an allocated parking space next to the accommodation. The view from our room was spectacular with a view of the mountains and the accommodation itself is within 10 minutes walk from the cable lift to the piste, for those skiiers amongst you and the Spa shop is within 2 minutes walk.

The owner is friendly and speaks perfect English and is very helpful.

Towels are changed daily and you have the use of the spa area in the cellar which was the 'gem' of the accommodation. The spa consists of a hot tub, steam room, sauna, sun bed and the various 'cold' showers that are related to sauna and it includes a large 'resting' area. There is also a seperate room in the cellar which has a table tennis table, ideal for teenagers.

This accomodation is ideal for those who wish to ski (or not) and it is close to all of the local aminities, skiing and central to most other facilities in the Tyrol region.
