Before choosing our hotel in Ischgl, we read the reviews below, ranging from disappointments (mostly bad luck) and very positive review. We went along (wife and I) to this hotel and experienced the most wonderful skiing and relaxing vacation ever. The Hotel, the staff, the food (oh my god, amazing as a culinary experience) and the comfort of the rooms and facilities (adventure showers, sunbeds, etc) provided us with experiences of pleasure, relaxation and complete disconnect from our busy lives. The lifts are literally beside the Hotel and the town centre is max 10minutes walk (do not understand related comments below that's its a bit far from downtown when you are a few hundred metres from downtown?). The views of the valley and the mountains from the hotel are breathtaking. We will certainly visit this very friendly family who owns and runs the hotel.

We stayed at this very charming, small, and friendly hotel for our skiing vacation. It was a most wonderful experience. The staff is friendly and the rooms are very clean and comfortable. We also enjoyed very much the sauna and relaxing oasis. The food was simply amazing and every dinner a wonderful experience. The breakfast buffet was also very nice. Another thing we appreciated was its close location to the cable car. I recommend this hotel!

I stayed in this hotel for 4 nights with friends. The rooms are indeed small but cozy and clean. The service from the family is impeccable and the food very good. They really make an effort to put together and interesting and varied menu. The only minus is the relative distance to the town centre, however it is very accessible to the ski lift.

Frankly speaking, I am quite surprised by the rather negative comments on this hotel. Over the past few years, we've staid probably in a few dozen family run 4-star hotels in Austria and this one was probably the most pleasant and hospitable ever. The owners of the hotel were simply great - really warm and friendly. The food, cooked by their young son, was really outstanding too.

The main drawback of this hotel is its furnishing. It is rather simple - not one of those cozy and romantic Austrian hotels with typical wooden paneling and furniture, unfortunately. Also the location is not the best - it is a bit away from the Village center. On the other hand, it is really close to the ski lifts and that's a big plus if you are a skier.

But overall, it was a very good experience.
