“Don't recommend to stay there any more, awful service, food and no loyalty to permanent clients”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 January 2012

It was a good hotel in 2009 and 2010, but season 2012 became just awful. No good cleaning, saving expenditures on food at the restaurant and SPA. And what is the worst - no loyalty for permanent clients. Unfortunately, never ever again to this hotel and I don't recommend this hotel to anyone. There are plenty of other nice and better hotels for the same price.

“Excellent hotel, great resort”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 July 2011

Standard of accomodation was excellent. The rooms were tidy and well furnished.
The balcony sometimes became a mecca for smokers from other rooms and the smoke did blow into our room and stank a bit.
Also annoying was the Saalbach church bells chimimg every 15 minutes with a crescendo of noise at 6am and 6pm. The morning chimes disturned sleep which after a long hard day and night holidaying wasnt appreciated.
The food service tended to drag with the inistense on a 5 course meal service of some quite unedicle dishes. I mean pasta for dessert that looked like snails off an Indiana Jones film?
The buffet was annoying as well with the queues snaking into other rooms off crammed guests.
The waiters and bar staff (Sven) were excellent and I have no complaints about their efforts. The prices of some of the drinks were a bit on the high side, although I think exchange rates had a lot to do with that rather than the Eva!
All in all a tidy, yet charming hotel.

“Excellent holiday, will return next year.”

I stayed at this hotel previously about 5 years ago when it was the Ingonda. Love the area for the walking so returned to Eva Village for a week in June 2011.
I couldn't fault anything.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. I had booked a room but had been given a suite on arrival. I couldn't fault this and room was spotlessly clean.
Food was excellent with a good range of vegetarian options. Good choice at breakfast and excellent service in restaurant.
Spa area was good and was quiet in the afternoons.
Saalbach is an excellent area for walking with well marked trails. The Joker card given at the hotel allowed free use of cable cars and also discounts on various attractions in the area.
June is a quiet time to go to Saalbach and is not too hot for walking. I will be returning next year as there is more walking I want to do but I also want to return to a good hotel where I am made so welcome.

“Lovely hotel in great location”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 March 2011

Loved it.

Room lovely. Staff very professional and friendly. Food good- both quality and choice. Pool and fitness area lovely.

The service in the associated bar, the Eva Alm, wasn't great but the food there was good too and the atmosphere lovely. (and actually the service outdoors was great!)

Would go back tomorrow if I could!!!

We recently spend our skiing holiday at Saalbach at Eva Hotel.
Our room was recently renovated junior suite with a heavenly bed.
Exellent service, sauna and pool area, good room and a great comfortable lobby.
Service was really good and staff was friendly.
