“Fantastic. Highly recommended”

We booked as part of a package and found the Rose to be very welcoming. The staff were super friendly to us. Rooms were clean and adequate. We had a balcony which was nice with table chairs and deckchairs etc. On half board the food was excellent and plentiful. Buffet for breakfast each morning with cooked, continental and cereals all on offer. In the evenings there were 4 course meals on offer, often which we couldn't finish but were of an excellent standard, but huge.

We can speak highly enough of the staff. We had are own table and regular waiting staff who got to know our habits.

The hotel was 5-10mins walk with snowboard gear, to Penken and 12-15 to Ahorn but we got the free ski bus most mornings from the corner of the street, 30s walk away, to save energy for the mountains and would be recommended for skiers.

The Rose sits 5 mins from the shops but is just off the main strip so nice and quiet, but near the action. Nice series of bars and café's on the way back from the slopes so we would often walk back stopping for beers and snacks

Would definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: Balcony preferable for the smaller rooms.

I originally stayed at a hotel a few yards away for 3 nights with 2 friends, one a heavy snorer (friend) and a light sleeper (me) don't mix well!
decided to find a room of my own for the remaining 4 nights, the hotel rose was the best find i could have wished for!
The room was fantastic, quiet, clean, large, comfortable. The staff were polite, caring, friendly.
Food was first class with a very large choice, I can recommend this hotel to anyone and I hope I have the chance to visit it again. Mike.

“Super hotel but watch out for food poisoning”

Travelled with chystal-ski and stopped for 1 week from 29th Jan to 5th Feb 2011. Our first impression was one of a very friendly hotel with good facilities. Unfortunately from Thursday onwards our veiw changed as numerous guests were going down with sickness and diarrhea, we also learnt that the same had happened the week including some members of staff. We informed reception friday morning to let them know of our illness, there was an offer to call a doctor if needed, but apart from that they made no other contact with us. I suppose if it had been fatal it would have been left to the clearner find us. I will not be using this hotel again and would reccommend all to avoid the food on a buffet style service.
One final moan is about the bed which creeked every time I turned over and having spent all day friday in it feeling pretty lousy it was just something else I could have done without.

“It just gets better and better”

This was the third year we stayed at the Hotel Rose and each year it has surpassed itself. The accomodation is excellent with clean well kept rooms, the food was excellent and choices wide ranging and most of all we found the staff to be genuinely concerned that we enjoy our stay. We have no problems in recommending it to anyone other than a half wish to keep this gem to ourselves...

“Friendly staff, good food a great hotel”

Just returned from a week at the Rose, Food Excellent, Staff Excellent & Friendly, rooms comfortable and clean, bathrooms clean and sliding shower door over bath, Not the closest hotel to the Lifts, but only 5 mins walk ( but not in ski boots) Austrian charm and is extending again, maybe a little too big as new part encroaches on view and balconies of older part. But you are made to feel welcome and looked after very well, no hesitation to recommend the Hotel Rose.

15% discount on ski hire from de Rotin Profis ski hire shop ( 50 yds from hotel )
