We stayed in an apartment room, which is attached to main hotel by tunnel. The room was more like a suite, with bedroom and separate living room. Both were very clean and comfortable.
The wellness area is fantastic. Very relaxing and comfortable and perfect after a days skiing. The abundance of available towels and the free tea is a nice touch.
We stayed B&B and breakfast was excellent, plenty of choice and very good food. They even managed decent coffee (not exactly the forte of hotel restaurants).
Location was handy, 5 mins walk from ski bus stop and about 10 mins walk to village centre.
The overall impression of the hotel is that it is meticulously clean and comfortable. It's the best ski hotel I've stayed in for years and I highly recommend it..

The service at Leitner's was really good. Their spa is awesome, the breakfast and cake servings outstanding and included to the price and staff members are friendly. The location is also really good, especially for skiing kiztsteinhorn glacier, which offers better skiing than kaprun itself. I would recommend this hotel for everyone!

I participated at the austrian freeski open and Active by Leitner's was the riders hotel. We spent 4 nights over there. This is a super nice hotel, delicious breakfast and dinner. Perfect atmosphere for the riders. The owners even prepared tables, interviews and other stuff together with the austrian open team, for us. So we had nothing to do, just chill and concentrate on the competition. Hope to be there next year again :)

We have recently come back from the 4-days stay in Active by Leitner's hotel and have mixed impression about the quality of the hotel and value for money. Generally we expected more from this hotel. We booked a standard double room expecting modern, stylish room but got classical room closer to 3 stars hotel rooms. The heating in the room was not functioning well so the room was cold in the morning. We appreciated free high speed internet access in the room but we would appreciate wireless access even more.
The dinner is served in a nearby old farm restaurant which is charming but the way to the restaurant is not paved so it can get very slippery when is snowing. The food was tasty and nicely decorated but in our opinion the portions were too small. The main course is limited to 2 choices which didn't bother us but might be a problem for more demanding guests. We would appreciate if the dinner would be served until 10:00 PM instead of 09:00 PM.
The lobby, bar, breakfast area and spa zone are very nice, except the relax zone close to saunas which should be decorated as other relax zones in the SPA. We had problems with booking the massages since only one masseur was working which was insufficient. The quality of the massage was not at the expected level.
Generally, the hotel has a potential and with some adjustments and re-decoration of standard rooms could be excellent small hotel.
