This was my second stay at the hotel, and the first since the renovation. The hotel has a great location overlooking the lake. Rooms have terraces, which overlook the lake. There is also an attention to detail in the rooms with dvd players, scales in bathroom, minibar, safe and other stuff. Breakfast was also excellent, with freshly baked Austrian bread, fresh milk, cheese, ham and a selection of juices. The staff is also very welcoming, and the hotel is very clean. A perfect, flawless say. And I agree with previous reviewers, that the hotel is a hidden gem.

I normally wouldnt take the time to write a review but I was truly impressed. I think the hotel is now under the management of the owners and they provided us with the highest quality of service. My wife and I like to travel a lot so we try and save some money and this place was extremely good value for money. I would highly recommend this hotel.

We spent a few days in one of the Hotel’s pleasant, self catering apartments while visiting the beautiful Salzburg and enjoying the surrounding areas. There were many factors which made this stay one of the most enjoyable experiences: friendly and helpful owners (the management of the hotel was recently overtaken by the owners) the breathtaking view of the lake and the mountains, great food and of course Salzburg and the nearby villages such as Wolfgansee. Might come back in the summer to enjoy the lake and BBQs or maybe in the winter for skiing and warm wine!
