Stayed for a week in skiing-season. Room (Primel) for 2 adults and 1 child, half board.
Room was big enough, well maintained. very clean. Staff is very friendly. Everything can be arranged, just ask. We arrived after 10 PM, when the frontdoor closes, but the receptionist just waited for us, cold platter waiting in the room. Great service!. Wonderful breakfastbuffet. Didn't use the afternoon snack option, but it looked fab!. Dinner (when halfboard is booked) gets you starter, soup (ALL soups are suberb!), choice for maincourse between meat, fish or vegetarian. Lovely desserts (and I'm a dessertfreak!). All food is fresh and homecooked. No warmed over crap one sometimes find. Compliments to kitchenstaff!
it was wonderful to be able to use the indoor pool, sauna and steambath facilities after a day of rigorous ski-practise. Only thing is that Heiligenblut is not so good for beginners or average skiers. The place is wonderful, beautiful views but the pistes are for experienced skiers with no fear! But for the difficult skiing I would recommend to anyone!
