hotel was nice enough, but they gave us a room in the basement and it had a bad odor! Everything else was fine and it was a decent price. Just don't let them give you a first floor(basement) room!

We've stayed at other motels in the area ,but wanted to stay somewhere new. Glad we chose this one.. CLEAN & QUIET, yet handy to everything . Walking distance to restaurants & shops. Gas/ goodies across the corner. GREAT , free continental breakfast (6am-930am) with a griddle & fresh eggs available !You can make any style ( not the usual hard boiled rubber!!) A short drive to Custer State park wildlife loop, Mt Rushmore& Crazy Horse monuments,Needles highwayetc... The staff is very friendly & helpul.. Coffee is always on in the lobby & the even have micro popcorn for you to pop !!Rooms are a good size & beds are comfortable ... we had 2 queens & lots of space to spread out. We will stay again when we make our next trip.

Absolutely the pits. I usually say things like, "it doesn't really matter because all we need is a bed and a shower" - but this place is a total fail. Dank dingy rooms, no flat screen TV, uncomfortable beds, doors that do not work, electric sockets that do not work, parking lot striping done with a spray can, luke warm water, etc. The worst part was the breakfast area - it was so filthy we couldn't stand to eat there if we'd wanted to - it was infested with flies, the griddles were just gross, the rolls were stale, and their idea of fresh fruit was some tiny hard apples that were unfit for humans (but the wild donkeys at the park loved them so I'll give Days Inn one star for that).

I think the photo here on TA is of another hotel. We arrived and our hearts dropped when we saw the hotel. Just dismal. My husband was comforted by the expanded continental breakfast, but I couldn't wait to leave! Beds hard and lumpy; the room felt dirty; the whole place felt dirty. Never again.
