From the outside it looked like it was a good hotel. The valet was ok. The receptionists were friendly and showed us how to get around town. Bellman delivered our luggage to our room. When we entered our room my first impression was how dirty the carpet, walls and vents are in the room. I informed management of the filthy conditions. They transferred me to a room one level below. The carpet in that room was also old and dirty. There were stains on the walls. It was cold in the room and the heater took a while to come on. The bathroom was DIRTY. There were black hair all over the tub and the floor. House keeping hadn't changed the toilet rolls. The flush didn't have enough water pressure and stuff kept getting stuck. The sink was blocked. I dared not enter the bathtub, scared what I might find. I went downstairs and complained to the General Manager. All they did was send up a guy to "fix" all of these issues in the middle of our business / weekend get away. It took the guy around 30 minutes to do it. BAD hotel. Would not recommend it to anyone. Also not a good value for the money.

We stayed 3 nights at this hotel. Our stay was comfortable and good value for rate we received. The location is convenient to trolley, very convenient for gambling at Harrah's and pretty close to other attractions. To get the king bed we wanted, we were given a handicapped room without prior permission,which meant no tub. I had to request re-cleaning of room, which they did promptly. Air conditioning didnt seem to work well although we were still comfortable most of the time. Breakfast in restaurant was not very good. Go elsewhere for good meals. So much great food in NO! Overall, hotel was fine for the value and staff was friendly. Doormen were awesome!

This is a good hotel. Solid performance by this hotel chain.

The room was clean. The bed was comfortable. The room was spacious. The bathroom whilst clean did have a shower screen that had obvious soap residue and a door that did not shut properly.

Food from the resturant was expensive. We had coffee and toast only and I was quite surprised with the cost! My two slices of toast cost the equilivant of a loaf of expensive bread!

That said, happy to recommend this hotel. Good rooms and well located near the french quarter. Only a short walk to the French Quarter (about 10 minutes stroll).

This is just an average hotel but parking with an SUV was $32, plus $4 (SUV), plus $4.50 car tax; had to wait 20 minutes to get our car. Housekeeping only did their minimal. Requested a high room with a good view (good thing I did). Got to see a different cruise liners in the morning after waking up; otherwise you can have a room looking at a wall. Close to the Convention Center and Harrahs. Fortunately we like to walk a lot, because Burbon St & French Market are several blocks away; & don't want to pay for taxis. We will be returning in March for another Convention event; but canceling our reservation and staying someplace else closer to all the restaurants, and sites. As for the cost..group discount, but parking blew that away. Other hotels give you great service for the same or less money.
