Nice hotel is a good location. Summer, the front desk clerk was extremely nice and helpful. Close to everything, within easy walking distance to Bourbon St, Harrah's, Canal St, etc... Ice and vending machines on every other floor, less convient. Rooms clean. Sound proof? NOT. You hear all the doors slaming, people talking and walking down hallways. Even the toilets make alot of noise. Continental breakfast area very crowded and leaves alot to be desired. I recommend going across the street to "Dress It" limited menu but excellent food for both breakfast and dinner (burgers). Would also recommend walking down the street toward Canal to "Red Gravy". Nice little italian restaurant. Good food, good prices. A/C doesn't work to well.

We stayed one night in Feb 2012 before our cruise. While we were at dinner someone robbed our room and shuffled thru all our suitcases. Police and management were called. Management said our door had not be closed all the way. Now I see on here someone else was robbed at the same hotel. I think they have a problem. Either with the doors being closed but not locked or with the staff. Either way I learned a costly lesson. The hotel is a great location.... but I would never stay there again.... oh yea Management did credit our room for the night. But still charged us for parking. If you choose to stay here I suggest you leave you valuables in the car or carry with you. Someone is making a killing off this hotel.

This hotel is just wonderfull to say the least its modern yet keeps the feel of a good ol new orleans hotel. The front desk and valet check in was excellent the price was perfect however the room was more perfect. The view of the city street and all the old buildings was great the french doors to the bathroom with the wooden floors was absouletly beautiful. We stayed a total of three nights we were only scheduled to stay one night but the room was so comfortable and refreshing we stayed a extra two nights while playing hookie from our jobs. Would love to live the experience over again, the location was perfect never got back in our car until we left. Loved it. Loved it and loved it. No negitives here

What a great place to stay, & priced very reasonable. Close enough to the French Quarter to walk which is great for after dinner walks from the awesome French Quarter Restaurants. The hotel is very pet friendly leaving 1 entire floor for those of us that travel with pets knowing that most dog owners will be more understanding of some pet's bad habits. It works! Don't expect to walk your dog right out the hotel door - the park for that is about 3 blocks away making late walks kind of nerve racking. Always a good idea to use the buddy system for walks, a good idea in most cities. All in all, the hotel is a very nice place to stay with friendly employees. Don't forget that it is Valet Parking but the service was fast!
