Tea at Windsor Court Hotel used to be so special. Yesterday the sandwiches were scarce, stale and small. The tea was cold and weak. Service was mediocre at best and the furniture was literally falling apart. The entire place smelled of heavy scented air freshener which hung over the place like a cheap cloud. It is still quite expensive though. That has not changed.

This must be how the other half lives! Only blocks away from the action, Windsor Court is a beautiful hotel. My suite was spacious, the turndown service was a nice touch and the staff helpful, friendly and courteous. The fitness center was better than most. I was there for a business conference and our company sponsored breakfast & lunch at The Grill offered some healthy alternatives (credit should be shared by our company's astute event staff) with some New Orleans favorites. The lounge appetizers were also tasty. There was some construction noise during our breakout sessions which the hotel staff addressed quickly when notified. Otherwise a fantastic stay!

We did not stay at this hotel, however we enjoyed a lovely afternoon tea service.
This was a gift from my daughter, she knows I love tea time!
The hotel is a beautiful setting, the tea sandwiches and cakes, confections, were delicious.
Having spent several years working in pastry kitchens, I truly appreciate quality products.
The selection of teas was good, we found several old favorites & new to taste.
Pièce de résistance was the classical music quartet.
Highly recommend!

If you want to stay just steps away from the French Quarter but within walking distance, this wonderful service oriented hotel is for you. I would stay there again. Extremely spacious suites. There was only a little noise in the late morning from the renovation but this should be complete by now.
