The lobby of the hotel is beautiful but the room had something to be desired. The beds lacked bed skirts, we had to ask for tissues, it took literally several minutes to get hot water and it had to be fixed the first night we were there, the sink did not want to drain, the maid left her gloves on the suitcase and they changed out the sofa while we were out without any notice which was just weird. The sheets were not of the highest quality as indicated.
Some of the restaurant staff were delightful. Look for Gregory. He is prompt, courteous, engaging, knowledgeable, skilled and professional. He was delightful. Tim was also wonderful.
Ask for an inside room if you don't want to hear the street.
Overall, it was a nice hotel, close to Bourbon street, with good staff. I would stay there again.
