“Great Location!”

We flew to New Orleans just after Christmas. We've visited New Orleans many times. By far, the French Quarter is our favorite place to experience the city. Hotel St. Pierre is located in a residential area. It offers a very quiet setting while only two blocks from the heart of Bourbon Street and a very easy stroll to the riverfront. The hotel is made up of several cottages that are connected by a string of passageways and courtyards. Some of the cottages have been nicely renovated. We stayed in a cottage that was in need of some updating-yet it was clean and the linens were all brand new. I booked online and was able to get a deal of $67 a night. For that price ....it was a steal! If location is more important than hotel amenities, then Hotel St. Pierre is for you. We will definitely stay here the next time we are in New Orleans. We may even splurge for a newly renovated room with a whirlpool tub!

“Great French Quarter get away”

I have now stayed at the Hotel St Pierre in the French Quarter, NO, 3 times. It is a quaint hotel with amenities. It is the perfect place to stay to get the feel of the Quarter, 2 blocks off Bourbon St, but quiet. The staff is very helpful, not only with your needs at the hotel, but with any questions you have about the area and directions and advice on any area or attraction. I have been here with friends and as a couple celebrating our 25th anniversary. Will stay here hext time I can get to New Orleans

“Quirky and charming, great location!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 15 November 2011

The standard rooms are very minimal, but once we upgraded to a king-sized room for only $20 more, our new room was gigantic! There were a few quirks (remote didn't work well, facet dripped), but the staff was great and the bed was extremely comfortable. The hotel itself is situated in several historic buildings, and the location is perfect--short walk to the French Quarter, but far enough away from the craziness to be quiet at night. There was also safe, free parking for our car. Overall, a wonderful stay!

Room Tip: Upgrade from the standard room to a queen, king, or jacuzzi suite. It's only a few dollars more...

“Astroturf”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 November 2011

We were on the bottom floor in a room that had not been renovated (unlike the rooms in the pictures). There was a 1 1/2 inch gap between the floor and the bottom of the door to our room, which was creepy and meant we could hear everything in the hallway. I'm pretty sure someone lying on the floor could have peeped into our room. The carpet was green astroturf-like material that I was afraid to walk on with bare feet and there was a roach crawling on the bed on our last night there. That said, the location is amazing and if you are willing to rough it, it's a steal.

Room Tip: Only book a room with a renovated bathroom on the second floor.
