I will always remember La Maison Marigny because it is where I got engaged! We checked into the Owner's Suite the day after Thanksgiving and stayed for 3 nights. The bed was huge and comfortable and we had our own living room to hang out in - not that we did much hanging out, but it made the overall space larger. The bathroom was very small, but that is to be expected in an old house. All in all it was very charming and our host/owner, John, made great breakfasts and had lots of recommendations for restaurants and activities. He communicated with us several times before our arrival and made sure everything was ready when we got there. His new kitchen was full of light and the courtyard was very charming - a great place for morning coffee. The location was perfect for us because we are more at home on Frenchman Street, which is very close - but Bourbon street festivities were just down the street. We wish we could have stayed longer!
