After staying in Vegas for several nights I was looking forward to getting away from the typical hotel style accommodation when we got to NOLA. We were very happy with the Creole inn and all it had to offer. Comfortable rooms, great location and a warm welcoming feel. We confidently walked to and from the French Quarter, even in the early hours of the morning as the area felt safe. Gayl the Inn Keeper looked after us well and we enjoyed our conversations with her, the wireless internet was better than many I have used in expensive hotels and I have no complaints about the amenities. The cafe around the corner does great breakfasts at a very reasonable price and is also a great place to enjoy a beer and a snack of an evening. All round great value for the money. If you are considering staying at the Creole, I would suggest you take the negative reviews with a grain of salt and make up your own mind, as you cant please some people. During our trip to America, we stayed in some very expensive 5 star Hotels and they were no more memorable than the Creole inn, I would happily stay there again, should I find myself in NOLA in the future.

My husband and I stayed here with friends for one week in November, and we will definitely return. Everything was exactly as advertised and the service was great. I absolutely loved the neighborhood, there were so many great cafes, restaurants, bars, etc. within a 5-10 minute walk from the Inn and it was so much less touristy than the French Quarter, which was a huge plus for us. We felt very secure the entire time and had no problems walking back from the Quarter late at night. Thanks Gayl!

Our family visited New Orleans for Thanksgiving week, and I am so happy to have found the Creole Inn! The location was perfect. It was great to stay "in the neighborhood"... like we had moved to NOLA for the week. The accommodations were very comfy and the management very friendly and accommodating. I plan to go back in the spring with my older sons... I hesitate to post this review before I have my reservation booked!

My daughter & I stayed there and were happy with the location, the price & the service.
I will definitly return.
