“Nice artwork, close to cruise ship port”

This hotel's location in a revitalized warehouse district filled with art shops and restaurants. You are one block away from Emeril Lagasse's restaurant and about a 20 minute walk to the French Quarter. The hotel is filled with its own modern and local artwork collection. Rooms are clean and well appointed. If your stay is pre or post cruise you could walk to the the cruise ship terminal. There is well equipped gym and a small pool on the roof. We had a pleasant stay and would return.

“Beautiful hotel, nice location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 January 2012

I stayed 12/26-12/28/2011, like the open feeling of the hotel, designed well, walking distance from French Quarter. La Cote Brasserie is an excellent restaurant, it's part of the hotel. Clean, comfortable, nice service, refreshing lobby-well thought out design that is open, airy, colorful, relaxing, and inviting. Excellent first rate health club facilities, rooftop pool w/ great views of the city. Club level rooms are best, also try and get access to the Club Level Lounge, which means full breakfast, beverages, snacks, business facilities, all in a comfortable, well appointed community room/relaxed lounge type setting with couches, nice tables, flat screen television, coffee table w/ magazines, newspapers, etc. Only thing which keeps me from giving it five stars is the fact there is not free wi-fi in the rooms-a bit disappointing; my understanding is there is wi-fi in the lobby-also there is a business center downstairs, and a computer where you can print your airline boarding pass if needed.

Room Tip: Try to get a Club Level Room, should mean access to the Club Lounge-breakfast, snacks, beverages, et...

“Great Hotel!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 January 2012

We stayed at this hotel on New Year's Eve and it was a great experience. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was slightly small but comfortable. There were too full beds instead of queen size. This hotel is about 10- 15 minute walk to the beginning of the French Quarter and the Riverwalk. This hotel is close of enough to the action but not too close to where the noise will keep you awake. Across the street, is a restaurant/bar that was hoping until later into night. The parking is valet and is about $37 a day.

“Excellent Hotel in Quiet Location Within Walking Distance of French Qtr”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 January 2012

I just stayed at this hotel for the 2012 Sugar Bowl. For me the location was excellent. It is within safe waking distance of the French Quarter (about 1/2 a mile) and Superdome (About 1 mile). The concierge lounge breakfast, snack, and desserts were comparable to a restaurant meal and were delicious. The hotel is in a very quiet area with but clese enough not to be an issue. We did not need a rental car, but if you do, the prakig appears to be pricey. The staff was veery friendly and the room was spacious and clean.

“One of my favorite hotels in New Orleans”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 January 2012

Went with a group of my friends and my girlfriend. We had 3 rooms. It was a perfect hotel. Beds were very comfortable. Very clean, and beautiful hotel. Location was just out of the french quarter, so quiet but very close to everything. Staff was professional and friendly. And it is just a short walk from the french quarter and convention center. The pool was very nice, on the roof. Nice fitness room.
