I enjoyed my stay at the Holiday Inn Superdome, but want to commend Emmet, the shuttle driver, who went out of his way to accommodate a group of Road Scholars while they toured the French Quarter.

I was here on a tour and for a "tour hotel" it was above average.

We chose this hotel because they had the park and sail feature and we needed to leave our car somewhere while we cruised the Caribbean. The hotel has had a refurbishing recently, in fact they were just finishing up wallpapering the hallway on our floor when we arrived. Our room was lovely. It was spacious and spotless. We had a sliding glass door out to the pool which was a nice feature. The only negative I can think of was the buffet breakfast which in my opinion was not worth it. Better to order off the menu if you are thinking of dining there for breakfast. The hotel shuttle will take you to several different venues such as the WWII Museum or the French Quarter to name a couple. The staff was super friendly and helpful. We are planning a trip back to New Orleans upon the completion of the trolley line that will run in front of the hotel in 2013 and will definitely book this hotel again.

This hotel is good if you are in business trip or wanna stay for 2 nights in New Orleans.
It has nice rooms, good location, nice service from the staff, and the cleanliness is average.
