We visit NOLA often, this is the first time we haven't stayed in the quarter.......now, this is the ONLY place we'll be staying.

We stayed in the 3rd floor suite---the MOST comfortable bed we have ever experienced!! This place is appointed very well, the courtyard pool space is divine, and we really appreciated the quiet time without presence of any children!! (no minors allowed)

Quiet neighborhood (there is a very low key bar across the street that opens late afternoon) and a few blocks to WWII museum, American Sector, and our new favorite sandwich shop: Butcher. You can definitely walk to the quarter from this b&b, but its a trek.

Prices are very reasonable here. A++++

This was our second visit to the Green House Inn.This visit was different mainly because of temperature, July versus December. What was not different was the quality of the stay coupled with the friendly and cordial host. Jesse and Frank do a good job of caring for the guest. Steuben, the house pet, provided some funny and laughter filled moments. Will not hesitate to stay again when we return to the area.

My girlfriend and I had such a great stay at The Greenhouse Inn. We were there for 4 nights, while she had a conference at the convention center. The location was perfect, right at the north side of the garden district. We were a 10 minute walk from the convention center, and a 15-20 minute walk from bourbon street.

As far as the accommodations, they were amazing! the location IS a little close to the highway, but you don't hear it at all!! the the plant life and pool truly transport you to a tropical lagoon somewhere. Bird Of Paradise (our room) was perfect. the hardwood floors and 4 post bed really gave it that classic new orleans feel. The staff was great! Jesse, the innkeeper, was SO nice. had some very good suggestions about where to eat and drink. Yessica, the housekeeper was also very nice. she had our room SPOTLESS every day. One helpful thing was the information binder in the room. It had literally ANYTHING you would need. food within 5 minutes walk, food greater than 5 minutes walk, bars, delivery, EVERYTHING!! it was truly a great help!

All in all, comparing it to B&Bs from a recent trip to italy, The Green House Inn met or exceeded our expectations. The next time she has a conference in New Orleans, we WILL be staying at The Green House Inn.

My husband and I had a lovely stay at the Green House Inn--very friendly and expert staff, ideal location (right where the Warehouse District, French Quarter and Garden District intersect), updated room that's retained its historic feel, and a gorgeous outdoor setting for a cocktail (provided by the great bar just across the street). I found the shower a bit cool and variable (not a problem if you're there any other month besides December I am guessing) and the breakfast a bit lacking. But these minor issues were balanced by the cost of the room and the quality of our overall experience. Thanks guys!
