“so comfortable”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 February 2012

you can find the drury hotels in several states, i went to three drury hotels and i really liked to stay with them. it looks like an ordinary hotel but it isn't. the atmosphere is really good. the employees are truly friendly and helpful. they welcome families in particular, but as a solo traveler - for sure - you will not feel misplaced.
if you want to travel trough the states where you can find a drury, you definitely should go there. spacious, warm interiors and with happy hour every day ...

“Nice place”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 February 2012

Here's the quick and dirty, this hotel is very nice, clean, and quiet. Has a solid free breakfast in the morning and an amazing afternoon snack in the afternoons with free beer and alcohol. Pool and hot tub even looked nice. Free internet woohoo.

BUT.....

When we went....on a weekend....for a bachelor party....it felt more like I was visiting my grandma at the old folks home. Old people like free food and booze so just imagine the 20 minute line there was in the afternoons. That's basically the only bad thing I can say about it. Everything else was fantastic. In the end, they didn't bother us, and we didn't bother them, everyone had a good time.

This place would be perfect for business travelers or anyone that doesn't want to be right in the middle of the party. If you are there to see and enjoy and drink everything in the french quarter, get something a little more centrally located you can pop in and out of.

“Great hotel, great location!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 February 2012

My husband and I recently stayed at the Drury while we were in town for a college football Bowl game. I booked the Drury because of location to the Superdome and previous experience with other Drury's. This could not have been a more perfect stay! We were in the best location for walking to the dome, and not far from Bourbon for our walk back later that night....er...the next morning! :) I think they have the best parking rate and you don't have to wait on valet to get your car for you...I don't mind getting my own. I wish we had been able to take advantage of the evening drinks and snacks, but we were having our own with friends tailgating. And we slept too late to enjoy the breakfast, but we love that they offer those. Check out time was at 11am, we woke up at 10:50. I called down to request a late check out and instead of stating how long we could take, they ASKED us when we'd like to check out. I was thoroughly impressed by that!
We had a corner room and it was wonderful. Perfectly cleaned and a great jetted tub. I would definitely stay at the Drury again, wonderful hotel!

“Great Hotel!!!”

Wonderful experience - clean, comfortable, quiet wheelchair accessible room. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. We did enjoy the hot breakfast and also the free food and drinks available at cocktail hour. We stayed 2 days - the day before our cruise and also the day we docked, to see the sights in New Orleans. The hotel is close to the cruiseport. Would highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay here when we return to NOLA.

“As typical as Drury gets”

If you have ever read any of my reviews of the Drury Inn's, you'll find this no different. By far one of the best places to stay, anywhere.

They really have it all together. The staff are the best, the kick-back is fantastic and the breakfast is as good. In my opinion Drury offers one of the quietest hotels we've ever stayed at.

Within walking distance to the Casino, French Quarter and Bourbon Street.

We highly recommend them.
