This Opelousas Inn, in quaint Algiers Point, offered a quiet place to stay away from the hustle and bustle of Bourbon Street and downtown New Orleans, but still offered quick access to downtown New Orleans via the ferry. The walk to the ferry was a great way to get out and see a lovely historic neighborhood of New Orleans!
Living in Northern Kentucky, right across the Ohio river from Cincinnati, Algiers Point reminded me much of my home in Bellevue, Kentucky. The quaint neighborhood of Algiers Point offered a great neighborly atmosphere just across the river from all the excitement of downtown New Orleans.
