This was a perfect place for a family to come together. My four siblings & I brought our father here to celebrate his 90th birthday. We could all be together and enjoy the intimacy of a "home" environment. The rooms were each unique and spacious for everyone. The courtyard was a favorite place to hang out--we even had a little birthday party for my father! The living room & dining room provided a place for us to play games at night or just hang out. The B & B was in a great location to walk to the Quarter and close to some good restaurants & most of the major attractions. Noni was a wonderful hostess and an absolutely wonderful chef.

The breakfasts were out of this world, quite tasty with a lot of flare.
I am going back again next week while in N.O. for a business trip.
Try it, the rates are low and it is just a really cool place.

I took my whole family to Parkview Marigny over New Year's. We were the first guest under new owner Noni Haigler. The rooms were great, and the breakfasts were fabulous. We also loved the location - close enough to the French Quarter to walk but not in the midst of it. We all plan to go back.

the website is a bit misleading. the rooms except for two looked great. the website made no mention of the sale. art work was removed from the walls, the carpet in the room was dirty and the overall feel was not what i had expected. the caretakers, george and maggie were welcoming. the price was right at $90/night on an 'off' weekend, no fair/festivals or the like. one suggestion to the inn, keep reservation paperwork in a drawer. my name, addr, credit card info, etc...was left on top of their desk along with the few others staying there. when i returned home, i received an email from another guest stating that he found our info in 'plain sight.'
