Some features about the Sully B&B were great, like the location and the size of the inn. They have a great location in the Garden District however to see much else of New Orleans you must use public transportation or a car. They have a lovely front porch, ideal for conversation or a few quiet moments.
The Esplanade room was well sized and quaint, however there were many items that need attention from the difficult door handle/lock to the fact that windows in the bathroom do not open and there was no exhaust fan. The room looked tired, and it was evident that it had not been dusted or freshened up prior to our arrival. We stayed 4 nights and not once were our sheets changed. By the way, these sheets were so thin that they should have been tossed out long ago!
Our hosts, Guy and Nancy, while cordial were not warm and welcoming. It's just a personality thing. They were knowledgeable about the area.
The breakfasts were adequate on the weekend, but lacking during the week when they consisted mostly of juice and muffins or King Cake, something I would expect from a Comfort Inn.
