My husband and I did a one night get-a-way at the Livingston Inn over the Holidays and it was wonderful! We live in the Madison area and are so glad we checked it out because now we have a wonderful place to have friends and family stay that we know they will just LOVE! The Inn itself has great history and a fantastic location. I can not say enough about the owners, Peggy and Dave! They are the most gracious hosts from the wine hour, to the wonderful conversations, to the amazing breakfast.This place has the whole package. I can not wait for our next one night get-a-way!

We stayed at the Livingston Inn one night after Christmas. We truly enjoyed our stay. The food was delicious, the room and property were beautiful, the wine hour was wonderful, and we really enjoyed getting to know Peggy and Dave. They were so friendly and accommodating - we were sad our stay was only one night! The location is great for any downtown activities, and we would highly recommend the Livingston Inn to anyone.

In lieu of exchanging gifts for Christmas, my wife and I spent a night at the Livingston Inn. This proved to be a very wise choice! The inn is a stunningly beautiful structure, adjacent to scenic Lake Mendota, and embedded in a tight knit Madison neighborhood. Our room (the Lake Mendota Room) transported us to a much earlier time, but graced us with modern conveniences including a gas fireplace. Peggy and Dave are a very gracious and interesting couple, with extensive experience in the lodging and restaurant business. A highlight of our stay was the delicious breakfast, and accompanying conversation with the proprietors. I would highly recommend a stay during your next trip to Madison.

We were visiting our daughter at the University of Wisconsin for the weekend. The Inn has an excellent location for anything happening in the downtown and campus areas. The excellent location/facility is only exceeded by the gracious service of Peggy and Dave. Every aspect of our stay with them was exceptionally enjoyable: from the very comfortable accommodations to the delicious food to the delightful conversations with hosts and guests. The high quality historical renovation and attention to detail by the hosts are added dimensions to the warm and welcoming experience at the Livingston Inn.
