“Great Hotel!!!!”

I just stayed at the Austin Hotel in Hot Springs, Arkansas, and couldn't have had a better experience. I looked at the reviews at Priceline and was a little worried, but it was nothing like others had written. The rooms were very comfortable. The staff was excellent and the location was perfect for downtown activities. It is a $10 cab ride to Oaklawn Park. All downtown historical sites were within walking distance. I will stay there every time I am in Hot Springs and would pass that advice to everyone.

Room Tip: I had a basic 2 bed room. I am not sure about suits or other type rooms, but it was very comfortabl...

“Hospitable Staff”

My mom and I stayed in the Austin Hotel for a pageant! Two nights and 1 day. The staff was amazing and helpful and seemed to always remember who we were. Our room was clean and quite spacious. We had an awesome time with the Austin Hotel being located right off Cleaveland Street (downtown, near the bath houses).

“A tired hotel”

A surprisingly "tired" hotel for a convention center in a resort town. Room was clean but looked like a small town motel from the 1970's.

Dear geochemprof,

Thank you for being our guest! Built in 1986, we have done several renovation projects and continue to do so on a weekly basis as business allows. In the last four years we have completed re-textured and painted all of our guest rooms, we have new linens, we have almost completed the installation of new carpet in all of our guest rooms. Our suites have been updated with new carpet and we are in the process of re-furnishing them all. In addtion to this we are also installing new lamps. Our renovations will continue and we hope that you come to visit us again next year and notice all of the wonderful and new updates that we have made and continue to make!

We had an amazing time here, and the staff was really nice and friendly. The beds were very comfortable, and the pillows were awesome! Loved the view.

“Great location, fit the needs of my group perfectly!”

My party was comprised of 3 adults and 1 youth. The staff at Austin was friendly, courteous and helpful. The front desk assisted with directions to our Hot Springs destination and promptly got a roll-away bed to accommodate everyone in our group. Finally, our server at the hotel's restaurant (Lynn) was a pleasure and kept our group laughing. Thank you, Austin HCC.
