Our group was headed to Hot Springs for the Hot Springs Bike Rally. This was our first time visiting Hot Springs. There were 3 couples in our group. One of the couples had booked at a historic hotel downtown, but the rest of us wanted to stay a little on the outside of town. It seemed like a good idea and also fit our budget. We drove up from Louisiana and followed the mapquest directions. Well we still managed to get lost. I called the hotel and spoke with Brenda who assured us that our rooms would be waiting and also gave us excellent directions. When we finally got there we met Paul Modi, the manager. He was soooo helpful. He directed us in so many ways. He pointed out the best way to get to different points of interest and places to eat. He printed out directions when we wanted to see the diamond mine. The whole staff was very helpful and warm. That first night, that other couple came to visit us at the Super 8. They were NOT happy at their fancy hotel. They spoke with Paul who was able to accomodate them the following day. Now don't get me wrong, this is not a fancy hotel. This is a basic down to earth hotel. It has clean rooms, clean towels, clean linens, a continental breakfast with a few extras, and very nice people working there. And guess what? The price was fair. We stayed 4 nights/5days and the bill came to a little less than $350. We spoke to others staying there and most were return visitors. This was our first visit to Hot Springs, AR, and we plan to return next year. When we do, we all WILL stay at this Super 8. They made our stay thoroughly enjoyable.

This hotel was fine, I mean it was a Super 8. The free breakfast was ok - cereal, milk, juice, microwave sausage biscuits, danishes, that sort of thing. The pool was a major factor for us since this was a trip with the kids, and they love the chance to swim. The photos you see here are very misleading and make the pool look HUGE and it certainly is not that. 4 ft. at the deepest end, and very small. With our crown of 5 adults and 4 kids it was ok, but add in other guests and other bigger kids jumping and splashing around, well it was easy to get kicked.

We planned this trip to stay 3 nights and 4 days, and decided on the last day after checking out to go stay at the Arlington for a night. it was SOOO much better, and when you stay at the Arlington with kids the price per night is about 20 or 30 more per night. All in all, Super 8 was a nice to average hotel, but for the price you may as well stay someplace really nice!

Our family of four stayed here in the king suite. It was very nice and the room was clean, not to mention, big. The price was under 100.00 for the night. What a bargain! The front desk was very friendly and helpful. I mentioned a store I would like to find and he looked it up online and printed directions for me. The breakfast was nice, nothing big, but it was nice. The pool was clean. Check our super 8's website. They have several pictures on their site. Very nice. We will definately stay here again.

The place was clean and comfortable and in a good location. There is nothing fancy but the staff was very friendly, there was a good breakfast, and would stay here again.
